As a driver, you probably have seen the signs of the engine heating up light up on your dashboard at least once. This is a sign that there is something in the engine that is heating up. Typically, this means that you are going to have to check your radiator for coolant levels.

Among the things you must check is the thermostat, the radiator, and the water pump in order to make sure that the radiator is working right. Also, make sure that you feel up the radiator with coolant as needed so that you can keep your engine cool.

You may have to take your vehicle in to get it looked at. The service technician will examine your vehicle and let you know what the issue is. If your engine is allowed to heat, this can result in a wide range of problems such as warped aluminum heads.
